Lowkey, one of my  favourite artists, a song I had on replay for a while because of everything from lyrical content and message to the instrumental, the real factual basis of the song made into a rhythmic description about things we see but don't discern, thrown to our attention.

This is unfinished as you can see, scanned in to be furthered constructed with photoshop using a tablet and tweaks in illustrators and such..
Hopefully the outcome should be pretty slick, the first piece with both live pen + photoshop/illustrator incorporated in...

Deathstalker Scorpio - Tattoo

 

 This piece was a fine line illustration of a black Death Stalker Scorpion, I drew for my girlfriend who's a scorpio and wanted a tattoo of a scorpion on her foot. Which as boyfriend duties dictate, I had to draw it and I quite like it personally. She did get it done and the tattoo doesn't look exactly the same but then again being a different process and different medium canvas, it would look different but I also like the final result of that version.

She got her tattoo done at Wood Street Tattoos in Swindon.

These pieces are just immediate thoughts, ideas, imaginations and observations (1st & 2nd) doodles/ sketches projected on to a page as quickly and effortlessly as possible keeping up keen and original style, taste, effectivity and implementation.
There are more done than this but these are my personal favorites of the few pages I've done so far in my newly used A5 Moleskine..

Gadget No. 3

These double page spreads are just a look into the style and process of how I've been working in one of my hand made sketchbooks, having the Equinox piece a personal sketch of illustrated imagination and the Gadget spread being a thought process for a brief. Looking at these two myself gives me an idea of what the difference is between my personal work and my professional brief process, and wanting a more balanced diet of the styles intertwining in each other would expose very interesting results..

the pieces here are traces done digitally form first hand imagery taken at my mums wedding and they're  a 2.0 of my original festival book project because of the massive decrease in complexity and detail in each frame, giving a smoother and more easing approach to the sequential purpose of my efforts. 

these are just a textless frames from the final product which isn't too surprising once you've seen these..

Gasei tha "Power x 4"

 

This piece Power is just an expression of Religious influence with Anatomical Surrealism or so in my head, it is the type of idea that pops into my head every so often but can never be rendered and done justice on a real surface. Although I like this outcome, it is nothing like what I think about and so with that, hopefully I'll carry on trying to express this thought/ feeling on-going until I feel satisfied with what I will have done..
The shapes represent different virtues while the Green Triangle represents Power, Courage and Wisdom and the flesh of the body is exposed portraying the raw feral nature of the Power while having 4 arms which does the opposite idea of advancement and complexity.. Nothing is a simple is what Power x 4 means to me in a way whilst it also expresses a power no one has but wishes naively..
it;s complicated to describe exactly what I think about the piece.. TBC
